The roof substrate is made from a mixture of high-quality sorted mineral components (zeolite, crushed expanded clay) and peat and has an adjusted pH value.
It contains trace amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

It is used as a vegetable growing substrate for extensive roof gardens in a layer of 3 – 30 cm, for planting and growing plants suitable for extensive roof gardens.

The most commonly used layer is at least 5 – 20 cm. We do not recommend starting a roof garden in periods of prolonged drought – in this case, it is necessary to water at least at the beginning of the planting. If necessary, the substrate can be fertilized with basic nutrients and trace elements.
