Roof filling substrate – Spogilit
Roof filling substrate – Spogilit
Composition: crushed spongilite in the 4/16 mm fraction – either pure or mixed with fine spongilite in the 0/4 mm fraction
Use: in layers of 4–20 cm as a substrate, or in filling layers of various thicknesses, under intensive or extensive substrates
Advantages: good water retention capacity and sufficient permeability
It is recommended to incorporate a starter dose of fertilizer into the vegetation layer, e.g., a slow-release fertilizer with a nutrient content of 15/9/11 and an effectiveness of 5–6 months. The total recommended dose of nitrogen for the growing season is 5 g/m², i.e. around 35 g of the above fertilizer per m².
Use: separately, as a filling substrate, or directly for growing plants – meets the standard for extensive substrates.
Recommendation: due to the low nutrient content, it is recommended to apply approximately 50 g/m² of Garden Boom Roof fertilizer (NPK 10-8-8+2MgO) with a long-term source of nitrogen in April/May.
Packaging options: loose, tank, big bag
